Reflections

Today, I start a blog.  Why?  Because I wish to share my thoughts, and my heart, to connect with, or to even help.    With who, or whom, I don’t really know, just anyone, I suppose, who might benefit from “Affirmationsdivine”.

Yes, that’s what I’m going to call this blog.

For now, I’m just going to add photographs I’ve taken, or art I’ve done, in order to reflect Jesus, the giver of all life, and positive life-giving affirmations. My gifts of photography, art, and thoughts are the best way I know to share, and right now, I’ve got time to share with you, and I’m convinced that’s what I’m supposed to do.

Last Sunday, I walked along the coast, and shot pictures.  The bird above made my cut (I took quite a few that didn’t); anyway, today this bird gets to be the star.  Why? Maybe subconsciously because I have the same name as a bird.  Really, though, it’s because of the beautiful reflection.  I look at that picture and ponder upon the reflection.  For sure, everywhere I land, I’m also casting a reflection.  Luckily, my reflection, like this bird, does not have to be mirror image perfect to be beautiful, because I am reflecting my creator, Jesus, just like the bird.

So I will accept my natural state, just me, just like the bird, live my life, and know by doing this, accepting it all, I am affirming the divine.

You can comment on this anyway you wish, your comments are welcomed, but my challenge for you is to take the spirit of my thoughts and words, and see how you can affirm what Jesus is doing in your life today, and how by allowing Jesus to reflect through you, you also can affirm the divine.
